Drink Driving Convictions and Visa Applications

Suspension of Unsafe Overseas Adoption by New Zealanders

On Tuesday (16 September 2025) the Government announced it had suspended the recognition of certain overseas adoptions by New Zealand citizens and residents for citizenship and immigration purposes. The change takes effect from 18 September 2025.
