I'm Marzia Ghazizada, Junior Solicitor at Lotus Law.

 

I was proudly admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand on 6 December 2024. Before that, I honed my skills as a law clerk at Lawhub while juggling my Professional Legal Studies and obtaining an LLB from the University of Canterbury.

 

I specialise in Family Law, with a focus on care of children, family violence, and relationship property matters. My goal is to help families navigate complex legal situations with compassion and clarity. I can speak up to 3 languages: English, Farsi/Dari, and Hindi/Urdu which allows me to communicate with a diverse range of clients, ensuring that language barriers do not hinder access to legal support.

 

When I am not engaged in legal texts or court proceedings, you can find me behind the lens, capturing life's moments through photography or documenting my adventures through short vlogs. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I have a love for spicy cuisines from the Middle East and South Asia.
